The main goal of Semantic Web The main idea of Semantic Web is the distribution of Worldwide Web principles from documents to data. Such distribution will show potential of Internet more completely as it will let data effectively distributes among users and to be automatically processed by programs. Semantic Web represents two opportunities: 1. It let easily see data as it is, due to that programs do not need to escape formatting, pictures and advertisement in web-page to guess where, properly, data is located. 2. It lets people write (or generate) files, which explain machines intercommunications between different data sets. For example: somebody can find out “semantic connection” between column “zip-code” in database and web-form with field “zip”, which will show that they, in fact, mean the same, in other words they mean the same abstract conception. As the result, such approach let computers follow such connections and therefore automatically integrate data from a big number of different sources. Technologies of Semantic Web can be used in different applied fields. For example, in the field of data integration, due to which data from different sources and of different formats can be integrated in one enclosure; in field of resources description and classification for providing more qualitative ones, taking into account field of subject, means of information search; in the field of catalogization, for contents and relationships between web-sites, pages or digital libraries description; in the field of program agents with developed logic for facilitation of information distribution; in the field of rating systems; at description of pages collections which logically compile one document; for description of intellectual property rights of web-pages and in many others.
